No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts or fonts. Your theme choice is kept in your own browser's storage and never leaves it.
When you download the installer, a counter goes up by one. No IP address, no identifier and nothing else is stored with it. The web server keeps its standard access logs for security, as every server does.
The app
VetteALDL works offline. It goes online only when you ask it to: the optional update check and a support report you send yourself. Recordings stay on your computer and are deleted after three months unless you copy them.
Support reports
A report is sent only when you press the button in the app. It contains your note, the application log of that session, the recording of the diagnostic bus traffic, information about the USB adapter, its driver and ports, and the app version and settings.
We use reports only to diagnose and fix the problem you report and to improve VetteALDL, keep them for at most 12 months and never sell them or use them for marketing. They are carried and stored for us by Google (upload and storage) and Proton (the support mailbox).
You may ask for access, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to a data protection authority (in Poland: UODO). Write to [email protected]. The controller is the licensor named in the licence agreement.
Donations
Donations are handled by Buy Me a Coffee on their own website, under their privacy policy. We see a name or a message only if you choose to leave one.

VetteALDL is an independent community project, not affiliated with or endorsed by General Motors, Chevrolet or Vetronix. "Corvette", "Tech 1" and other names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
VetteALDL is donationware, provided under the VetteALDL Licence Agreement, without warranty. Run output tests only with the car parked, the parking brake on and the transmission in P/N.
